| We are coming towards the end of the current crop and harvest of new crop in on the way. Due to drought, the Mexican crop is expected to be down by approx. 15%. The situation in Mexico for pecannutkernels is not looking very good as water supply will remain (and probably become even bigger) a problem in the years ahead. The crop in the state of Georgia is also expected to be smaller due to diseases from too much rains during the season. Prices stay firm but probably with some firm interest we might be able to pick up some specials for you. If you are interested for shipments out of new crop from December/January onwards, please let us know. |
