Not a lot of activity can be found in the Turkish hazelnut market due to holidays which followed after Ramadan. Next to Turkey is the activity in other origins limited too, driven by overall low demand and limited amount of last available stocks. The latest updates on the Turkish new crop are less optimistic then mentioned earlier, due to the increased risk on empty nuts due to low temperatures and the first signs of the fungus disease which are reported.
