Rumors about crop not reaching the 3 billion mark are creating some confusion/uncertainty in the market and prices went up a bit. But, even with a crop slight less than 3 billion, crop still should be OK and with the carry-over of approx. 550-550 million pounds enough almonds should be available.
August shipment figures are next important number (middle September) to give direction to the market.
