| Demand for cashewnutkernels remains good and consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the fact that cashewnutkernels are a good protein source and plant-based alternative for dairy products. This is very positive also in the future and will help the growing worldwide production. Although we will not have a record crop this year, the 2026 production seems to be the 2nd largest crop in history, which is promising towards future. |
| While tariffs, inflation and weak consumer confidence caused a decline in US imports in 2025, there are indications of recovery. In Europe, demand has reached moderate growth levels with prices as key driver. Geopolitical tensions and high logistics costs are having an impact in today’s market and especially in the Middle East while we see a decent growth in the Chinese market with great potential as well. Prices are expected to remain at current levels, although increased some cents in the past days. The main reason for the increase is the continues demand, lower quality, meaning higher processing costs, and higher costs for packing material and freight. |
| Our strong recommendation remains to be covered for the coming months, probably even up to the end of 2026 as we do not see prices easing with the continuous demand. |
