Cashew October 10, 2025

The market is relatively stable for the moment Supply and demand seems more or less in balance. There are offers from West Africa on whole kernels and it seems that the West African processors have to lower their price a bit to generate interest for prompt shipments as most buyers are pretty well covered for the year.
Tanazanian new crop is around the corner and end of Otober we will know the prices of the RCN which will give direction to the market again. The Cashew Board of Tanzania is expecting a crop around 700.000 mton RCN. We do not expect the Tanzanian crop to be that big and think it will be closer to 500-550.000 mton. The Indian processors are usually very interested in this Tanzanian RCN -because of the good quality- . This might push prices up a bit as they are able/willing to pay higher prices as their domestic kernel market is accepting higher prices.
We also would like to use this opportunity to advise you that we have interesting offers from West Africa for Jan-Dec 2026. When of interest, please let us know and we can make you a customized offer.
