The market of cashewnutkernels is not very active. The uncertainty in the world is creating reluctancy with purchasers who are awaiting more information before they will make next calls. Buyers are covering hand to mouth as they are uncertain on price developments in the coming months but also on demand. Supply: there is enough RCN around to fill in world demand. Actually prices of RCN are easing a bit in West Africa as Vietnamese processors first want to make sure what will happen in US before buying additional volume Demand: EU is covered until summer and some position for Q4, 2025 and Q1, 2026 but also quite some business still to be done as they are expecting/hoping, prices to ease a bit further. The US is quiet and covered only until summer. They pushed to get as much shipments in before July 09 as the pause on the import tariff will finish. It is uncertain what will happen after 09th July but hopefully we will get clarity for a longer period on import tariffs so we all will know at least on this uncertainty. We will keep you posted.
